What is Art and Inquiry?

Courses in Transdisciplinary Art and Inquiry (TAI) at UNCSA rely on carefully designed responsive pedagogies to make space for students to explore research, design, and artistic expression on topics that matter most to them. TAI experiences complement  training in the conservatory disciplines with practice in discovery, research, and iterative testing of their original ideas. In this proposal, we outline current offerings in TAI, including the immersive experiences offered as theStudio for Creative Practice, and propose X possible pathways for growth that could positively impact both UNCSA and WSSU.
